Marijuana Has Been Discovered To Increase The Symptoms Of Bipolar Disorders In A New Study
Is
marijuana harmful to people with preexisting conditions? Marijuana may increase
the symptoms of bipolar disorders according to a study according to PLOS One.
Contributions to the study were made by Harvard University, Tufts University,
and the Cognitive and Clinical Neuroimaging Core in Belmont, MA. The study was
done in that bipolar marijuana smokers revealed high symptoms of their disease
as opposed to bipolar non-smokers and non-bipolar marijuana users. The
researchers got the results that they did because in many of the findings for
the group that comprised of the bipolar marijuana users, symptoms increased as a result of the use
of marijuana.
