Doing A High Fat Diet Can Help You Lose Weight
An extremely
high fat diet can help you lose weight, according to the American Society for
Nutrition. 17 obese men were admitted to
an 8-week high-carbohydrate diet for 4 weeks followed by a 4 week ketogenic
diet. Researchers found that the subjects loss about 3lbs of weight in 15 days
of the keto diet and only 1lb doing a high-carb diet. Researchers believe they
received these results due to the inability to measure the food intake of their
subjects during the outpatient trial. Scientists may suggest that the keto diet can be used for weight loss, although a high-carb diet does convey a greater
advantage to reducing body fat whereas the keto diet is used as a
nutritional tool to control a caloric deficit.
